The DNIe, electronic National Identity Document, is the document that, in addition to physically accrediting you, allows you to identify yourself on the Internet to perform administrative procedures in a safe way: consult the points of your driving license, access work life, access the office virtual of your bank to perform any operation, obtain the birth certificate, sign documents and many more.

The DNIe serves to identify itself in secure websites (https) and sign electronic documents. To begin using the DNIe it is essential to have the following:

Obviously, you must be in possession of the DNIe. If you still do not have it, you can request it at your nearest police station. In addition to the DNIe, it is necessary that you know the pin number (without it, you will not be able to identify yourself, or sign on the Internet) and that the certificates that the DNI incorporates are in force.
It is essential to have a DNIe reader and that it is correctly installed on the computer. Generally, with the reader come the drivers necessary to install it. If not, look for the drivers of your reader on the website of the manufacturer of the same.
