How to replace the headlights of a Mercedes

Mercedes vehicles have several driving lights for greater safety. These lights are the headlights, taillights, flashing lights, and parking lights on the front and rear of the vehicle. It is important that you always keep the lights on, not only for your safety, but also, to avoid receiving a ticket from the authorities. Although most current Mercedes-Benz vehicles use the same lamps, consult the owner's manual to make sure what type of lamp your car uses.

You will need to:
  • Clean gloves
  • Replacement Lamps
Steps to follow:

one

Put on gloves before touching light bulbs . Change the light to the off position. The gloves protect the oil lamp in the hands, and thus ensure a longer life before replacing it.

two

Slide the parking light cover toward the back of the vehicle. Lift the front end of the lamp and then the rear.

3

Turn the bulb to the left to remove it. Install a replacement bulb W 5 W and turn clockwise.

4

Replace the parking light cover by first setting the rear and then the front to secure it.

Tips
  • Always use clean gloves or a clean cloth to replace halogen bulbs.
