How to apply for a grant from the Ministry of Education

The scholarship of the Ministry of Education of Spain is becoming, in the times we live, a fundamental tool for students, especially university students, not drop out of school for economic reasons and can continue in them without having to go to work. October 15 ends the application period, so if you have not done it yet, do not miss the opportunity and follow these simple steps that we give you about how to apply for a scholarship from the Ministry of Education.

Steps to follow:

First enter the website of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports: //www.mecd.gob.es/portada-mecd/

On the right side you will see 5 tabs with the following names:

  • Citizen Service
  • General Registry
  • Electronic Headquarters
  • Scholarships, grants and subsidies
  • Approvals and Validations

Electronic headquarters is the one that interests us in this case, click on it and you will go to the electronic headquarters of the ministry (// sede.educacion.gob.es/portada.html), from where you can fill out the applications for any kind of scholarship.

Below you will see four options in the center:

  • Procedures and services
  • Electronic record
  • Notifications
  • Complaints and suggestions

Click on Procedures and services-> Scholarships, grants, subsidies and awards-> Scholarships, grants and subsidies to study-> Scholarships and grants for undergraduate, graduate or undergraduate students-> Scholarships for post-compulsory students 2013-2014. (University level).

Once there, give the form . It will ask you to register and in a few simple steps you will fill in the application. Remember that this course is done all over the Internet and you do not have to take anything to the University's secretariat, except in the cases indicated at the end of the scholarship (disability of a relative, unemployment of parents or large family).
