How to save the Christmas ornaments

Riding the Christmas tree and other ornaments is a very entertaining task for the whole family, and especially for the children of the house. But dismantling it and keeping everything in its place is never so fun ... But it is a task that must be done year after year, in order to properly preserve all the Christmas ornamentation . So that it does not become such a tough task, here are some tips on how to store Christmas ornaments.

You will need to:
  • Christmas decorations
  • Boxes made of cardboard or plastic
Steps to follow:

one

Reserve an exclusive place to store Christmas decorations, so you can store them year after year in the same place. Try to make it a cool and dry place, that is, without too much heat but not too wet.

two

Use boxes to store your Christmas ornaments . You can recycle cardboard boxes that you will find in any store, or use transparent plastic boxes that will allow you to see the content and know what exactly contains each one.

3

Likewise, we recommend that you keep the original wrappings and boxes of your Christmas decorations, in order to have at all times the instructions and recommendations of the manufacturer.

4

In case you no longer keep these packages, use smaller boxes and bags to separate and classify your Christmas decorations . This way, you will prevent them from curling up and falling between them and it will be easier for you to put them back next year.

5

For fragile Christmas decorations, such as figures of Bethlehem or manger, we recommend that you use bubble paper or some other insulator that protects them from bumps.

6

With regard to Christmas lights, it is important to keep them properly, without the wires being twisted together. You can store them rolled up on a kitchen paper tube or some other type of tube that keeps them organized, but not piled up.

7

Also, place the most delicate items on top of the box, and keep those Christmas decorations that are not in danger in the background.

8

When you have filled the boxes, label them, mark them with a marker or some other way that allows you to know what is inside (especially if they are cardboard or some other non-transparent material).
