Make sure that the aquarium is spacious and contains vegetation for the guppy to protect themselves, besides this is a method that females use to protect themselves when they are harassed by the males.

Water quality is a key factor for guppy fingerlings to grow healthy and strong. They need high quality water, so it is preferable to control the levels of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate it contains. Anyway, change 50% of the aquarium water every three days, always taking care not to damage and extract any breeding.

Feeding. Guppy fry are much more carnivorous than their progenitors, since they need to increase their body mass. The best way to achieve this is animal proteins, some of the live foods that we can provide them are: artemia nauplii or small water fleas, also called daphnias. For its part, food such as ground flakes can also serve to complete your diet.

Do a thorough monitoring of the growth of the fry to see that they do so uniformly, and pass them to another aquarium when they are large enough.
