Steps to follow:

one

Convert teaspoons to tablespoons. There are three teaspoons in a spoonful. Divide the number of tablespoons by three to determine how many teaspoons you have. For example, 57 teaspoons of water equals 19 teaspoons of water (57 teaspoons / 3 = 19 teaspoons).

two

Convert spoonfuls to ounces of liquid . There are two ounces of liquid in a soup spoon. Multiply the number of tablespoons by two to determine how many ounces you have. For example, 18 tablespoons of water equals 36 ounces of water (18 tablespoons x 2 = 36 ounces of liquid). Note: fluid ounces are the measurement of volume of a liquid, not the weight.

3

Convert ounces to cups . There are eight ounces of liquid in a cup. Divide the number of ounces of liquid by eight to determine the number of cups you have. For example, 32 ounces of water equals 4 cups of water (32 fl oz / 8 = 4 cups).

4

Convert cups to pints . There are two cups in a pint. Divide the number of cups by two to determine how many pints you have. For example, 8 cups of water equals 4 pints (8 cup / 2 = 4 liters).

5

Convert pints to quarters . There are two pints in a room. Divide the number of pints by two to determine how many quarts you have. For example, 4 pints equals 2 quarts (4 pints / 2 = 2 quarts).

6

Convert from quarters to gallons . There are four quarts in a gallon. Divide the number of rooms by four to determine how many gallons you have. For example, 2 quarts equals 0.5 gallons (2 quarts / 4 = 0.5 gallons).
