How to synchronize an iPod Touch to manual

To use and manage an iPod Touch, you must use the iTunes software on your computer. Most of the time, iPod owners prefer to have their iPods automatically synchronized every time they connect to their computers. However, you can also synchronize your iPod manually so that you can exit the iTunes library without being affected by any changes you have made to your iPod. This can be especially useful if you do not fit all of your media into your iPod and you must select synchronizations.

Steps to follow:

one

Connect your iPod touch to your computer with the connection cable. Open iTunes if it does not open automatically.

two

Click on the name of your iPod under "Devices" on the left side of the iTunes window.

3

Click on the "Summary" tab in the center of the iTunes window.

4

Check the box next to " Manually manage music and videos ."

5

Click on "OK".

6

Click on the "Eject" option next to the name of your iPod under "Devices" when the synchronization is finished.
