How to make a switch

When you create a closed circuit to light the bulb you can make a switch. This switch that we teach you to do is useful and very easy to do. • A small piece of cardboard
• 2 paper pins
• A big clip
• 3 pieces of cables with bare ends
• A bulb holder with a 3.5 volt bulb
• A 4.5 volt battery

First of all make a small hole in a piece of c arton. Hold the end of the clip over the hole and insert a pin. Fold the tips back under the cardboard.

Then make another hole at the other end of the clip and insert another pin . Bend the ends back, but do not touch the first pin.

Next turn the c arton and wind the end of the cable around a pin. Wind one end of another cable around the second pin.

Then one the loose end of a cable to the terminal of a battery. Wind the end of the other cable around a pin on the bulb holder.

Finally, connect one end of a third cable to the free terminal of the battery. Wind the other end around the free pin on the bulb holder. It lights in this way.
