How to make circular snowflakes with paper

Snowflakes are a handy craft to do when the winter comes and, above all, at Christmas . With them, you can decorate the windows and doors of your house and there are endless ways to make them. It is a craft you can do together with your children, who will enjoy a lot when they see the result. Here is an example of how to make a circular snowflake with paper.

• Folio DIN A4
• Scissors
• Pencil
• Some object with a circular base or a compass.

Take a DIN A4 size sheet and place it on a table horizontally.

Place a bowl or some circular object on top of the leaf. If you do not have anything similar, use a compass. With a pencil, mark the circle on the sheet.

Here is how the circle will fit you.

Cut out the circle with scissors.

Fold it in half as shown in the image.

Re-fold it in half as indicated in the photograph.

And finally, fold in half for the third time.

Use a pencil to draw the shapes you want and cut them out as the image shows.

Unfold the sheet and you will see how you made a nice circular snowflake with paper.

• Remember that this is just an example. Let your imagination fly and draw other lines with the pencil to get different types of snowflakes.
• If you want your children to help you make the snowflake, consider your age. If they are small you can fold the sheet and they mark it on top of what you have done.
• Once the snowflake is finished, encourage them to decorate with colors or glitter.
