What to do if my iPhone's home button does not work

More and more we complain that after a while, we start to fail the home button of our iPhone . The main problem could be some dust particles that are inside said button. Before opting to blow strongly to make those specks disappear, we can facilitate access to the menu thanks to an identical touch button that is integrated into the phone system. Still do not know what it is? In we explain you the steps that you must follow to find it and what to do if the home button on your iPhone does not work .

You will need to:
  • iPhone 4 or 4S
  • IOS5 Update
Steps to follow:

one

To find the home touch button on your iPhone, the first step you have to do is unlock the phone and click on 'Settings' to access all the options available there.

two

Once in 'Settings', you will find a long list of options but you must go sliding the screen down to 'General', as shown in the image.

3

Click on 'General' and once there, you will find the 'Accessibility' option, press it to get to find the home touch button.

4

Within 'Accessibility', in the section called 'Interaction' you should click on the ' AssistiveTouch' option.

5

Once inside the option of 'AssistiveTouch', it is as easy as activating it and immediately afterwards you will be able to see in the screen of your iPhone a button identical to the one of home, half transparent.

6

If you touch this button, a mini screen with four options will open. If you click on the 'Start', it will automatically take you to the menu of your iPhone.

7

This button will remain on the iPhone screen until it is deactivated again. It does not bother in the least, since being semitransparent the other applications stand out. You can also move on the screen and place it in the place you prefer so that it does not interfere with browsing your phone.
