What to do if my mobile phone loses coverage

A few years ago, when mobile phones were not yet smart and we were content to let them call and send messages, it was relatively common to be left without coverage if we were somewhere far from the big city. Now we have forgotten those dark times in which we did not begin to tremble if we remained incommunicado and, the few times that happens to us, we panic. Do not worry. In .com, we tell you what to do if your mobile phone leaves coverage.

Steps to follow:

one

Where are you? The first step is to look around and see if you are in any of those places to which mobile waves get worse. It can be a tunnel on the road, the elevator, the subway or somewhere lost in the mountains. If the problems continue when you return to a "normal" place, follow these steps.

two

Now play by doing small gradual reboots. Start with the easiest: put the phone in airplane mode (it was not, right? If it was in airplane mode that was the problem) for a few seconds and turn it off again. In many cases this is enough to return coverage.

3

If the airplane mode trick did not work, restart the phone completely. Wait a little when it has turned on, since sometimes the system takes time to find the service again.

4

Everything remains the same? Turn off the phone, open it and extract and reinsert the SIM card . Turn it on and try.

5

If none of this has worked - and before you had coverage in a normal way, it is not a configuration problem - call the technical service of your operator or take the phone to an official store. They should find and solve the problem by having your mobile phone recover coverage.
