How to download videos from Youtube on Mac

That the videos that we want to see are on YouTube is not usually a problem, but sometimes we are interested in having one available for when we do not have Internet at hand, to see while we travel, for that getaway to the town, etc. That's when you try to download a YouTube video and you find it impossible. Steps to follow:

Open your browser and go to //macapps.sakura.ne.jp/mactubes/index_en.html. Once there, click on the " Download " tab to download MacTubes.

Once there, click on the first "Download" that appears.

A dialog box will open asking if you want to download (or open directly) the file. Click on "OK". If you have selected "save", when the download is finished, open the downloaded .zip file .

Go to the downloaded folder and open the file called MacTubes by double clicking on it.

The system will ask you if you are sure you want to open the application. Click on " Open ."

The MacTubes program will be opened, which will be the tool for downloading videos from YouTube on Mac. In the search engine (the blank field that appears at the top right) write the name of the video you want to download and press "Enter". A list of results will appear.

Double click on the video you want to download. It will open in a pop-up screen. In this, in the lower menu, click on the configuration wheel, select "Download" and the format in which you want to download the video.
