How to add a trend line with Excel 2007

Select the chart to which you want to add the trend line . Click once on the data series that you want to appear on the trend line.

Click on the "Add trend line" option in the "Table" menu. This action will open a separate window.

Click on the "Type" tab. Select the type of trend line you want to add from the list of available options. Click on the "OK" button to add the trend line to the chart.
