How to access a remote IP address

The Internet Protocol (IP) is a number assigned to each computer that is connected to the Internet or a local network. It is a way to identify each individual computer. This number not only allows you to communicate with other computers and the Web, but allows a user on a computer to access and control other connected equipment. You simply have to know the IP address of the equipment you want to access.

Steps to follow:

one

Search and click on the "Start" menu on your computer.

two

Type "mstsc" in the search field found under the "Start" menu and press "Enter." This opens a " remote desktop " option.

3

Enter the IP address of the computer you want to access remotely from your computer in the text field of the remote desktop.

4

Click on the "Connect" button on the remote desktop to make the connection between the computer and the remote access device.

5

Enter the username and password. Click "OK" to remotely access the equipment if necessary.
