How to cut glass bottles in half
Empty glass bottles can be preserved and used for a variety of crafts, as well as decorating with bottles. If you are planning crafts such as making glasses with glass bottles, chances are you need to cut the bottle in half.
To cut flat glass you need special saws and blades, but if you try it in a round bottle it ends up breaking the glass. To get a perfect circle all the way around the bottle, you must use special cut techniques. This is the way to cut glass bottles in half .

Place the bottle cutter on a flat surface.

Remove the cork from the bottle, and insert the bottle into the cutter so that the rubber is put in the mouth of the bottle.

In some bottle cutters, the back of the bottle is placed in the rubber sections, instead of the mouth. Consult the manufacturer's instructions to achieve proper placement.

Place one hand firmly on top of the glass bottle to hold it in place, but leave the fingers open so that it can still rotate. Turn the bottle with the other hand to start cutting it. As you turn, you hear a screeching sound because the blade cuts through the glass.

Continue cutting the glass bottle, no more than two turns, until a visible groove in the glass is cut.

Boil water in the pot and place it in the kitchen over high heat.

Now you put on gloves and safety glasses and place the glass bottle in the sink. Pour jets of boiling water over the furrow in the bottle. Go turning the bottle so it heats up completely.

Open the tap of cold water and pour over the mark on the bottle for about 5 to 10 seconds.

Remove the bottle from the cold water and pour boiling water over the cut. Put the bottle under the cold water again and the top should fall. Depending on the thickness of the bottle, you may have to repeat this process with water several times, until the cut line is released.
As you can see, cutting a glass bottle perfectly requires a cutter.
