If you are a guest and wish to cancel a reservation, click on your name in the right corner of the top panel of Airbnb, go to "Your trips" and access this reservation. Then, click on "Modify or cancel". However, cancellation by a host implies a series of infractions if the reason is of lesser cause. Among them, a fine valued at $ 100, the creation of a public comment mentioning that you made a cancellation, a blockage of your calendar during those dates to prevent you from making another reservation in the same period, and a loss of eligibility for one year for the status of "Superhost".

If you do not feel comfortable with a guest before accepting the reservation, you can carry out a cancellation.
