How to allow subscribers on Facebook
The new Facebook subscription option allows you to share certain content with the public that decides to subscribe to your profile, without having to compromise your privacy. In fact, now you can publish pubic and other more personal and private updates for your friends and family. - A computer with Internet access.
- A Facebook account.
Access your Facebook account and go to the drop-down menu in the upper right area to select 'Account settings'.
Once inside the settings menu, locate yourself in the area on the left of the screen and click on 'Subscribers'.
As it is a new option, you have to check the selected box to allow subscribers to your Facebook account .
Now that you have activated the subscriptions, you can also configure them according to your preferences. You can choose what kind of public can see your posts or comment on them ("Friends of friends", "Public" ...)
