How to make a 3D Christmas postcard

Do you want to send an original and economical Christmas postcard ? One option would be to buy it in some stationery, but would not it be better if you made it ? It is very simple, if you want to make a Christmas postcard in 3D, you just have to follow the following instructions:

You will need to:
  • two sheets DIN A4 size
  • scissors
  • glue
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • on
  • Colors, markers or whatever you want to use to decorate your postcard.
Steps to follow:

Grab a green A4 size A4 sheet. If you do not have it, you can do it with a white sheet.

Draw a rectangle 23 cm long and 17 cm wide. This size may vary depending on the envelope you are going to use. To make this postcard, we used the typical square envelope of 176 x 120mm. Once you have drawn the rectangle, draw a line of points just in the center as shown in the image.

Cut out the rectangle and draw half a Christmas tree as shown in the picture.

Fold the paper in half

Cut out the wavy lines as the picture shows.

Open the page and you will see how the tree has been marked on both sides.

Draw a pencil line from the top end of the tree to the bottom end as shown in the image.

Fold the top of the tree inward, as seen in the image.

Turn the page and you can see how it looks on the other side.

Do the same with all parts of the tree.

Take another DIN A4 size sheet and stick the one on the tree on top. You will have to put glue in all the parts except the one where the tree is drawn since it will be the one that will stand out from the postcard.

Cut out the excess part of the sheet. Decorate it to your liking, write the message you want and put it in an envelope. Now you can send whoever you want this wonderful Christmas card.
