How to make thank-you cards for wedding guests

Are you going home shortly and are you looking for an original idea to make thank you cards for the guests on your wedding day ? These cards are not the invitations but a way to thank your guests for their presence on one of the most important days of your life. In we give you an idea that will surprise more than one. We've checked it and it works!

You will need to:
  • small envelopes
  • stamp with some wedding engraving
  • ink
  • silver or gold pen
  • pen
  • cards
Steps to follow:

one

Buy envelopes. We recommend that you have a small size of business card but if you want to write more use larger envelopes. We have chosen white envelopes.

two

Buy a stamp with a wedding theme. In this case we have used a stamp in which the bride and groom appear in the car. You will also need black ink.

3

Place the stamp on the lower right part of the front of the envelope as shown in the photograph.

4

To finish with the envelope you will only have to write the name of your guests on top of the stamp with a gold or silver pen or pen.

5

Now it's time for the cards!

Buy cards or cut them yourself from a cardboard of a size that enters the envelope. We advise you that the cards are not white, choose a pastel color. You can even make them in different colors so that each guest has a different color.

6

It's time to write!

First write the name of the guest the way you call him (dad, aunt, father, grandmother ...) to make it more personal. Thank you for sharing this important day with you and remember something you live together or how important it is for you. If you do this, the guests will feel very special on wedding day and very grateful that you have thought of each of them.

7

Put the cards in the envelopes and on the day of the wedding place them on the banquet table.

There are different ways of writing cards . In we recommend that the bride write the ones of her part and the boyfriend of yours, so you will not have so much work.

Another option would be for both of you to write on each of the cards (one in front and one in the back). Decide the option with which you feel most comfortable.
