A journalistic genre is the literary form used by a journalist to write the news he makes during his working day. • The editorial is an ideological publication carried out by the media. It is not usually signed because its content is linked to what the media thinks about a hot topic.
• The letter to the editor is a genre of opinion but not written by the journalist, but rather the readers themselves are in contact with the media to express their point of view on a topic. It has the format of a letter in which the interlocutor is presented and the reasons for sending the letter are explained.
• The opinion article is an expository or argumentative text on a specific topic. In general, articles of opinion are usually written by collaborators of the media, people outside the media but who have a certain prestige in society.
• The column It is used for the same purpose as the opinion article and has the same structure. The difference is that it has a specific periodicity, for example, it can be published every week.
• Finally, criticism is used to value a work exposed to the public, it can be a piece of music, a concert or an exhibition. It consists of a headline, technical file of the article to criticize and the opinion of the journalist about it.
