How to use myrrh to fight parasites

Myrrh is an extract resin of a plant, whose use dates back to biblical times. The Commiphora or Balasmodendron myrrha trees populate the Mediterranean region, and its sap escapes through fissures in the bark of the plant. This sap has a great amount of medicinal properties, as a soothing effect on the nerves, healing of sores in the mouth and gingivitis, and strong antibacterial properties (medically proven treatment for blood flukes).

You will need to:
  • Myrrh
  • Water or alcoholic beverages
  • Tea spoon
  • Measuring cup
Steps to follow:

one

Buy myrrh in the purest form you can find in naturopathic pharmacies. It is sold as an essential oil, a powder or a gum.

two

Dust is the recommended form for its use to treat parasites, since it dissolves easily and is tastier.

3

Dissolve one or two teaspoons of powder in a cup of boiling water. Let it cool 15 minutes.

4

You can also remove approximately 2 ml of extract in an alcoholic beverage.

5

Drink tea up to three times a day for as long as necessary, or according to the advice of your doctor.

Tips
  • Myrrh in its gum version is also effective, but harder to swallow, as it does not dissolve easily.
  • The FDA believes that myrrh is safe, but some mild side effects may occur. Among them are fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
