In case we have not finished eating yet, we want to make a small break in our food without removing the plate from the table, it will be necessary to place the cutlery on the plate. Once we have finished a plate and we want the next one to be served, it will be necessary to leave the cutlery crossed on the plate. The knife should be placed transversely on the plate, with the fixed down, and the fork perpendicular on this.
